The focus of history changes in each of my projects. I can teach groups about what history is and what it means to them. Or I can bring a project team together to train communities to become historians themselves. I bring my expertise on participatory projects into history projects to change the way history is done so that communities have real ownership of how history is made.

I can facilitate workshops and safe spaces that centre the wellbeing of migrants who are minoritised by the Hostile Environment. I can show you how to bring migrant-led perspectives into your project in a respectful way that appreciates how global histories influence all of our lives here in the UK whether we are recent migrants or not.

I encourage the use of artistic methods in a project to strengthen collaboration. Exploring diverse sensory ways to engage in a project increases inclusivity and accessibility. Sketching and map making for example helps us to explore ideas without needing to rely on having the same language or communication style.

History is full of unequal power dynamics that structurally many still feel today. Those that I work with are minoritised by structural inequalities. I help to change the power balance of those I work with, incorporating practical action that is led by-and-for those who are part of my projects.
